At first glance, the ads proclaiming last week's grand opening of the JJ Health Center might have appeared to suggest something more than a massage. The massive amounts of cleavage, the pining eyes and lingerie uniforms of the "Friendly Charming Attentants," the scantily clad masseuse doing what appears to be some oddly sexualized version of the Harlem shake -- all seemed to be sended some sort of coded message. But then you read the actual text of the ad -- "Fantastic Good Massage. And sometimes it's not, which Dallas police suspect is the case with JJ. In a police report filed yesterday, they refer to the establishment as a brothel and make the shocking allegation that men go there to pay for sex.

City files lawsuit to shut down Dallas massage parlor after raid, prostitution arrest
Dallas police said they launched an investigation into a number of "illicit massage businesses" in operation on the block of Emerald Street, near Royal Lane and Interstate 35E, after receiving numerous tips there were illegal services being offered inside. During the investigation, police said detectives confirmed through multiple visits that prostitution was occurring inside and that all of the massage parlors were connected to a single group of owner-operators. Detectives also said observations of the businesses indicated people may have been trafficked into the businesses for the purpose of prostitution. On Wednesday, a task force made up of Dallas police and several other local, state and federal agencies, raided the operations on Emerald Street as well as two other locations -- one on the block of Whispering Cove in Lewisville and another on the block of Bois D'arc Street in Commerce.

Attorneys for the city, the business and the property owner could not be reached for comment Tuesday. Authorities have conducted multiple investigations into Green Spa in the last few months.
